This
UK based operation is part of a global group with warehouses in 22 countries
servicing another 50 countries worldwide offering Chemical Management, Product
Distribution, Supply Chain Management, and Hazardous
Communications.
Customers
that require materials with unique specifications and storage needs, such as
aerospace chemicals and electronics, receive solutions to meet their needs even

The
main duties of the Quality Manager will include - Continuous evaluation
of the Quality Management System. - Ensuring that the appropriate Standards are
held and maintained at the current revision status - Carrying out internal and
third party audits as required occupying some 75% of
time available - The centralised control & review of all training
records - Implementation of corrective and preventative measures - control of
the Approved Suppliers List - Preparation of On Time Delivery Metrics –
Continuous Improvement and Lean events.
The
abilities and experience of applicants should include a flexible approach to all aspects within the working
environment whilst maintaining standards and requirements at all times coupled
with the ability to manage
a Quality team.
As
to location and travel this is a home working post for applicants based
in the Coventry/Birmingham area. A laptop computer, docking station, printer
and mobile phone will be provided along with a company car. This position will
include regular travel throughout Europe, Asia and Australia aided by a company
credit card.
The
working week is 35 hours- Monday to Friday -
between the hours of 8.30 AM and 6 PM with a one hour lunch break. 20
days annual leave, with an addition 1 day each January, to a maximum of 25 days.
8 bank holidays paid on top of this. Standard company car and fuel
reimbursement provided. Contributory pension scheme - 3% employer and 3%
employee - can be joined after 3 months service. Sickness scheme with benefit
increases with service. Life assurance up to 4 times annual salary from start
date. Non contractual benefits such as Cycle to Work
