Position Description: Commodity buyer responsible for:- Sourcing new product in line with cycle plan Controlling expenditure related to design, testing, goods and services Cost improvement negotiations Benchmarking of existing products Managing relationship with suppliers on and off site Development & implementation of commodity strategy
Skills Required: Strong negotiation skills Experience of end-to-end sourcing Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, PC literate Ability to manage and deliver projects on time and in budget Ability to work in a changing and challenging environment Self-motivated, enthusiastic, pro active with ability to work with minimal supervision Full driving license
Skills Preferred: Flexible with respect to travel
Experience Required: Proven experience as a buyer (2 years min). Demonstrate an ability to influence decisions You will have an excellent track record of successful negotiation and an understanding of different sourcing techniques Experience Preferred: Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Education Required: Degree level of education or CIPS qualification is desirable but not mandatory
Additional Information: 40 hours a week and 3:30pm finish on a Friday

Position Description: Project Management Analyst - To project manage a product development team through the development of a new vehicle content on a complex commercial vehicle. This role gives an ideal opportunity to further develop your project management skills working in an exciting cross cultural and cross functional environment. Skills Required: Primary Skills Required: The key requirements to fill the role are that the candidate has project management skills, preferably in the automotive sector. The candidate should also demonstrate good leadership and communication skills to lead a group (drawn from diverse areas such as Engineering, Design, Purchase, Manufacturing, Finance and Marketing) through complex issues to deliver an optimum solution. The candidate should possess the capability to handle wide ranging assignments from senior management presentations to detailed analysis. Skills Preferred: - Experience Required: Preferred:
Experience Required: The candidate should be able to demonstrate a good record of delivery of complex tasks/projects in a technical environment. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate a high level of business acumen and development of project/program business cases/proposals. Experience of developing timing plans with program milestones / gateways and with managing the associated deliverables.
Experience Preferred: Experience of working in a cross cultural environment would be preferable.

The main duties of the Quality Manager will include - Continuous evaluation of the Quality Management System. - Ensuring that the appropriate Standards are held and maintained at the current revision status - Carrying out internal and third party audits as required occupying some 75% of time available - The centralised control & review of all training records - Implementation of corrective and preventative measures - control of the Approved Suppliers List - Preparation of On Time Delivery Metrics – Continuous Improvement and Lean events.
The abilities and experience of applicants should include a flexible approach to all aspects within the working environment whilst maintaining standards and requirements at all times coupled with the ability to manage a Quality team.
As to location and travel this is a home working post for applicants based in the Coventry/Birmingham area. A laptop computer, docking station, printer and mobile phone will be provided along with a company car. This position will include regular travel throughout Europe, Asia and Australia aided by a company credit card.

The working week is 35 hours- Monday to Friday - between the hours of 8.30 AM and 6 PM with a one hour lunch break. 20 days annual leave, with an addition 1 day each January, to a maximum of 25 days. 8 bank holidays paid on top of this. Standard company car and fuel reimbursement provided. Contributory pension scheme - 3% employer and 3% employee - can be joined after 3 months service.
